An update on 8.10.20,

Following yesterdays statement from our First Minister.The hotel remains fully open however from Friday 9th October until Monday 26th October alcohol sales are banned indoors in Scotland, we are able to sell alcohol in our outdoor areas from 11am to 6pm daily and on Sunday from noon - 6pm. Our bars and restaurants indoors will be open for food and non alcoholic drinks and coffees from 11am to 10pm for hotel residents and for all other guests from 11am to 6pm.


We are fully open

We re-opened on 15th July. We hope you are safe and well, I wanted to reach out to you to update you. That's the great news that we can welcome guests back to Fisher's Hotel

Although the world has changed unimaginably since March many things at Fisher's Hotel have stayed the same. Our warm welcome, our commitment to making your stay enjoyable, we are still serving great food and drinks and our Gardens have been well maintained and are looking great. There have been a couple of changes for which I am sure you will approve, all of our ground floor public areas have had a lick of paint.

We are following social distancing, we have increase our cleaning frequency and our staff are wearing PPE. Please note we are not taking cash and purchases will have to be made with your credit\debit card.

We are taking reservations from 15th July however we are offering free cancellation on all bookings and I will not take any prepayments until 48 hours before arrival, this will give you complete flexibility and one of the best reasons to book direct.. If you have an expired voucher from ITISON, 5pm or our direct website voucher the validity period has been increased until 22nd December.

Dining at Fisher’s
Breakfast is served seven days a week from 8am to 10.30am  Should you wish an earlier Breakfast, please let Reception know the night before.  Dinner is served from 6.00pm until 9pm. Bookings are essential for both breakfast and dinner, we are operating with more space in the restaurant which means we have less seating available. To avoid being disappointed with available times, please book your breakfast and dinner times for your entire stay on check in, reception will be delighted to take your reservations.  The

Coach House will be open daily for food and drinks.Coffee and drinks start at 11am and continue until late, food service starts at midday and runs through until 9pm. If you wish to purchase coffee or drinks in The Coach House you are welcome to bring them back into the Atholl Lounge or Garden Room in the hotel. In the Coach House you must take a seat at a table as there is no bar service someone will come and take your order. The Bar and Restaurant are operating cashless and you will not have the opportunity to bill back to your room. We ask that you make a contactless payment each time you make a purchase.

Rooms and Public Areas 
We request that you wear a face mask or face covering when you are in the public areas of the hotel, this does not include the restaurant or bar. If you struggle to keep a social distance of two metres indoors then you should wear a face covering out of respect for others. We have complimentary Wi-Fi throughout all bedrooms and public areas. Please choose FishersGuestWiFi and follow the instructions. The password is:1234567890 Check out is 11.00am but should you wish to arrange a late check out this can be available but will incur a small charge.  Reception opens at 7.00am but if you would like to make an earlier start or avoid the rush, we can arrange for your bill to be ready for settlement during the evening before your departure. 

For your comfort all guest, rooms and public areas are no smoking and no e-cigarettes, smoking areas are located outside The Coach House Bar and in the area to the rear of the hotel.  Guests are requested not to smoke in the entrance to the hotel.  Smoking in room or public areas will incure a £200.00 cleaning charge added to your bill.  For your safety we test our fire alarm on a Monday morning at 11.00am the alarm will sound for around 30 seconds. At all other times if you hear the fire alarm you should follow the hotel evacuation procedure, details of which are included in your bedroom folder. If the alarm sounds at any other time please evacuate the hotel by the nearest fire exit, the muster point is across the main road in front of the hotel.

Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) After you have settled into your room, please discuss any assistance you would require in the case of fire or personal emergency with Reception, so that we may help you in an emergency.

Covid-19 Changes 
To ensure your and our safety we have had to make a few changes. You will notice more signage around the hotel. We do ask that you socially distance where possible at 2 metres. We have 26 different hand sanitiser stations around the hotel and you will see we have screens at reception and other team members will be wearing gloves and face coverings. 

We have had to make changes in our bedrooms and to our housekeeping programme In the room we have had to remove a few things you will notice there are no telephones, to contact us from your mobile please call 01796 472000, our phones are manned 24 hours. We have also removed, luggage racks, information folders, tissue boxes, paper and pencils. Whilst these items have been removed they are still available should you require them. Please contact reception and we will deliver them to your door. There will be no daily housekeeping, if you are staying for more than one night and should you require any additional items again please contact reception and we will get them brought to your room. Please leave your used towels outside your room in the morning and our team will in turn deliver you fresh towels. 

We have public area cleaners going around the hotel keeping all of those touch points clean.If you are using any of the hotel public areas such as the restaurant if you need to use the toilet can you please use the toilet in your bedroom. The public toilets are used by patrons from the bar and also are part of the Pitlochry Comfort Scheme and as such we strongly recommend you using the bathroom in your room. 

If you start to feel unwell 
I hope you have an enjoyable stay with us however if you start to feel unwell and you have any of the Covid-19 symtoms, running a temperature, have developed a continous cough or have a change to your sense of taste or smell, please stay in your room and contact us by telephone, dialling 01796 472000, we will then advise you what to do next.

Thank you for your support during these changing times, although these measures may mean a bit of compromise I hope that you enjoy your stay and I assure you we have been and are working tirelessly to ensure there is no compromise in our service standards or hospitality.
