Atholl Palace Museum
Stay At Fisher's Hotel
Located just a 3-minute drive from the Fisher’s Hotel lies the Atholl Palace Museum. Full of history dating back decades, the museum dates back to 1878 when it was first established in the old servant’s wing of the Atholl Palace Hotel.
In 2005 the museum opened within the hotel. It was the largest of its kind in the UK, celebrating the rich history and architectural heritage of the hotel. The museum also showcases the history of tourism in Pitlochry.
The self-guided museum showcases a historical insight and anecdotes perfect for minds both old and young to enjoy.
Discover the rail carriage and look inside the doctors’ cupboards which light up the wine cellar.
Don’t forget to pick up your complimentary copy of the ‘Hydropathic Herald’ and your tickets at reception.
