Big Hearted Pitlochry

Pitlochry is a small Highland Town with a big heart. Located in the centre of Scotland it has many good restaurants, traditional tea rooms, charming boutiques and unique shops.

The Festival Theatre is the cultural hub, with plays, music, literary festivals and workshops throughout the year. You can book your Theatre tickets through our reception desk.

There are also many other regular events such as the Monday 'Highland night' when the local Pipe Bands march through the town to the recreation ground. Pitlochry also hosts several majors events all of which are easy to walk to from Fisher's Hotel.

The New Year's Day street party involves Scottish Country dancing in the street directly in front the hotel.

The Highland Games Day held on the second Saturday in September, is the last of the season and includes all the colourful, traditional events from Caber Tossing to Highland Dancing.

Etape Caledonia, Britain's only closed road cycle event, takes place in May and see's Atholl Road filled with thousands of cyclists.

The Enchanted Forest and Pitlochry Autumn Festival is a magical event held over 3 weeks at the end of October.
